About Me

 

Hi, welcome to my website! I'm Becky. I'm 25 years old - and I have 6 years of tuition experience. I have 2 years experience of teaching in a secondary school but now is the time to focus on tuition.

I have a Geography degree from the University of Birmingham. I am a qualified Maths teacher trained at the same university. 

​

Tuition isn't just about teaching a subject, it is about building trust and a rapport with the student. Most students find school boring because teachers don't provide fun activities or conversation along with the lessons. 

​

Tuition is also about adapting the lesson to the individuals needs. This is why I have taken an understanding mental health in young people qualification and a special education needs diploma to ensure that I understand how to interact with different types of student.

I am currently studying for a certificate in teaching English as a second language.
